Mario Andres Robinson

Fine Art Connoisseur magazine added Mario Robinson to their list "Artists Making Their Mark" in the November/December 2007 issue.

Mario A. Robinson received his formal art education at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. In 1994, his work, which is largely afro-centric, began to incorporate rural subjects primarily located in the northern region of Alabama. He is proficient in various mediums, including pastels, watercolor, and graphite. Robinson's finished works bear a close affinity to the masters of the realist tradition, Andrew Wyeth and Thomas Eakins.
